This week I’d like to highlight a truly amazing Rockstar Doggy Momma Dina Lynn. Dina is a Certified Transformation Coach and develops programs for individuals using a whole-food, plant-based diet. Dina teaches her clients to use food as medicine and encourages them to follow her example and “fall in love with fruits and veggies” as they truly are the key to healing, not to mention an abundance of energy and gorgeous skin.
You have heard me mention “mindless eating” on more than one occasion. Recently, I came across an article I though was extremely interesting. Maybe it was the title that caught my eye, “Google Study Gets Employees to Stop Eating So Many M&Ms” because you must admit it’s pretty intriguing.
In the words of Aristotle, “We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit.” So why is it that we are always trying to derail the habits that we know are good for us? Weekends, cheat days, this occasion and that occasion.
This week I’d like to highlight a magnetic Rockstar Doggy Momma Carla Giandonato. Carla is a bundle of energy and true joy to be around. She embraces life and always moves forward with a positive attitude.
Are you one of the many who feel very awkward eating in a restaurant alone? For many of us, dining out is not only about the food, it’s also a social experience. That’s why we never hesitate to invite others when we have the urge to hit up our favorite lunch spot or try out the new restaurant in town.
This week I’d like to highlight an extraordinarily graceful woman Tracy Burns Scurto. Tracy dances through life with her eyes wide open touching the hearts of all of those around her. She has diligently served on the Board of Directors for Bear Necessities Pediatric Cancer Foundation.
We have all heard the saying “no pain no gain” but there are so many exceptions to that rule. Yes. Some activities can cause us minor discomfort as we push our bodies to its’ fullest potential and that is normal. However, it is super important that you are listening when your body talks to you.
This week my Rockstar Doggy Momma is Michele Lawson. Once her daughters were out of the house and the last pet crossed the rainbow bridge, Michele and her husband Clay vowed to remain pet free but it didn’t last long. Life got a bit topsy-turvy for the couple who has been married 30+ years.
Now, if this was posted by someone else there would probably be very little chatter about it but because I promote a healthy lifestyle, people seem to be taken aback. Why would someone who promotes health and wellness be talking about drinking too much and giving a hangover cure? Just because I’m healthy, doesn’t mean I’m boring!
This week I’d like to highlight a very special lady and Rockstar Doggy Momma Jennie Kroll Andersen. Jennie is a kind-hearted adventurer who loves the open road. She finds peace and beauty in exploring the natural world and unique settings.
