- 1 pound ground white turkey breast
- ¼ cup yellow bell pepper, diced
- ¼ cup red bell pepper, diced
- ¼ cup orange bell pepper, diced
- ¼ cup onion, diced
- 1 egg
- 1 Tbsp. olive oil
- 1 tsp. Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Preheat oven to 350.
- Combine all ingredients in a mixing bowl and form into 4 patties.
- Coat a cookie sheet with a little olive oil or cooking spray and place turkey burgers on the sheet.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes, flipping once halfway through.
- Serve on ½ whole-wheat or sprouted grain bun with tomato and lettuce and a side salad.
- Note: You can grill the burgers if you prefer and/or try your own veggie and/or cheese combinations.
- Note: This is a great leftover to take to work cold with a large vegetable and mixed green salad.
