• 1 pound ground white turkey breast
  • ¼ cup yellow bell pepper, diced
  • ¼ cup red bell pepper, diced
  • ¼ cup orange bell pepper, diced
  • ¼ cup onion, diced
  • 1 egg
  • 1 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 1 tsp. Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Preheat oven to 350.
  1. Combine all ingredients in a mixing bowl and form into 4 patties.
  2. Coat a cookie sheet with a little olive oil or cooking spray and place turkey burgers on the sheet.
  3. Bake for 35-40 minutes, flipping once halfway through.
  4. Serve on ½ whole-wheat or sprouted grain bun with tomato and lettuce and a side salad.
  5. Note: You can grill the burgers if you prefer and/or try your own veggie and/or cheese combinations.
  6. Note: This is a great leftover to take to work cold with a large vegetable and mixed green salad.
