Meet this week’s spunky and classy Rockstar Doggy Momma: Stephanie Andre-Ouellette. Stephanie is a friendly, social butterfly full of life and lots of smiles. She’s a true friend and will do anything without question for those she considers “family.” She’s always encouraging, kind, never shy, and a wonderful listener.
Fads come. Fads go. According to Mintel Research, over 40% of American’s still think that gluten-free is some type of diet fad. From my personal experience, people tend to fall into two different groups; those who know all about gluten and subscribe to a gluten free lifestyle and those who are still confused about gluten and why they should/shouldn’t avoid it.

A few weeks ago I added a blog post entitled, “Is Your Dining Companion a Bad Influence?” which addressed that fact that women often mimic female dining partners in regards to how much food we consume. Eating with someone who loves salads and stays away from the bad stuff will generally cause us to follow suit. Eating with someone who love everything from appetizers, main course, and dessert will cause us to (in general) eat more than we may normally eat.

Women talk about a lot of things but hormones rarely makes the list of hot topics. From the time our body begins to develop and we start our menstrual cycle to the time we see our doc about menopause and hormone replacement therapy and everything in between, hormones are in the spotlight yet we generally just keep it hush hush. After all, why ruin a good “girl’s night out” by talking about what weird things our body is are doing at this very moment.
